Received a call from 246-395-8673 saying they could lower my interest rate if I had credit card debt totaling over $3500. Tried to verify balances and kept telling me I didnt qualify based on my credit limit and available balances. Finally found one that was under the credit limit of their terms and then they transferred me to a person to qualify me. She asked for a different card and when I told her that wasnt the one they used to qualify me with, she transferred me to a manager and he says" so you dont want to give us your credit card number? I told him that they already had one number and I wasnt giving anymore personal information because it didnt make sense. The first person I talked to wanted the customer service # off the back of my credit card because supposedly the "qualifier" would be on the phone with me and my credit card company at the same time. I hope I didnt give them too much personal information. Now I have to keep an eye on all my cards. When I told the "manager" it didnt make sense,he hung up on me.

That they didn't make this clear to you up front indicates they were deceptively trying to get your card numbers in the first place.
