I got a call this morning on my cell phone that came up 888-8888 I answered it and he told me his name was Mr. Frank Parker with ups. gave me a number to call 1-876-580-7681 ext.5 and talk to Mr. John Malone and told me that I won a 2015 Mercedes-benz and 950,000.00 I would recive 5000.00 every firday for the rest of my life. Then he proceeded to tell me that I needed to pay them 950.00 I would have to wire it to them via. money gram or western union. That Is when I knew it was a scam I am a women of very little means and to get 950,000 would help me so much but what little money I do have I need..I told them I don't have 950.00 to wire them he said that he would bring it down to 399.00 I told him I could only come up with 200.00 he said he would take the rest out of his pocket so we could do this. I told him no he has called me back 6 times now and the number comes up private caller. I will not do this and I hope no one else gets scamed like this... please check always please I don't want no one getting scammed....

I received the same call as H. Martin. I was asked to call 1-876-580-7681- ext 5 and speak with John Malone. Mr Malone claimed to be in Brooklyn Ny, caller id shows Kingston, Jamacia, and told me I had won a 2016 Mercedes insured by Allstate for 2 yrs. $950,00. and $5,000 pd to me every friday for the rest of my life. Sounds to good to be true right! lol. Here was the catch all I had to do was deposit $950.00 into their bank account that the check was coming from, so i would not have to pay taxes on the money. This according to Mr.Malone was a recorded phone call for the BBB, IRS, FBI, and Homeland Security. That I found amusing. I am sure the IRS would love to know to that this fake "PCH" was trying to rip them off. Any winning over $10,000 must be reported to them. I kept playing along as he kept asking me to repeat instructions, i told him i would take my son in-law to the bank with me to protect me from being scammed since he was a Police Officer. Mr Malone almost stroked. He told me I couldn't do that this was private. I could take him to the bank but i could not tell him. He did not want my family to rip me off. Really! LOL ok we are done. He told I was mean and made him cry. too bad. This is nothing but a scam to steal your money. Do not fall for it.

I just got the same call!  The first # he gave me didn’t work. Then he gave me another. # that was a local cell but no one answered so he gave another # also local. Finally got through. A guy answered and I asked for Malone he said just a minute then came back and said he was him. It was the same guy the whole time. He wanted me to take $950.00 to Walmart. I told him I was fixed income and didn’t have it. He just kept on trying to get me to borrow it or what ever I could come up with. He kept telling me to not tell anyone.

My grandfather just received a call from this number(876-580-6758). They said their name was Austin Meyers at Publishers Clearing House told my grandfather that he won but he needed to hurry and get to the bank and get $650.00 to send to him asap, so my grandfather could get his winnings. My grandfather is hard of hearing and the guy didn't speak English too well. So my grandfather told him that he didnt have a ride to the bank and couldn't understand what all he was saying, but he would let him to talk to me, his granddaughter. My papaw handed me the phone and said I think this is a scam. After hearing Mr. Austin Meyers tell me that we had to hurry and get to the bank before my grandfather lost his winnings, you could tell the guy was nervous when trying to explain what needed to be done. So I informed him that I was recording this phone call, I would be reporting it to the police and to never call this number again. He hung up. I'm just glad my Papaw realized that it was a scam but I'm sure there's some people who will believe this guy and lose their hard earned money. I hope that this helps someone from being scammed.
