email demanding money

I got the same email, asking for $600. then $100, each month til $980. is paid back.  As stated by others the email is full of missed spelled words.  When asked for proof in writing it never happened. I also gave my number, because the one listed in the email was no longer available.  ACS also sent court filing in california, however, I live in Hawaii.  They also threatened the $4k plus, including court cost and threaten to report me to the three credit bureaus and employer, etc.  I'm glad I continue to research if ACS is a scam and it is.  thanks for relaxing my anxiety.
