I bought a maytag top of the line dishwasher on 5/9/10. It is now 8/22/12. The dishwasher was leaking on my new floor so the tech from A&E came out and said it was the gasket. I asked why it leaked and he said either defective or wear and tear. I told him I live by myself and don't us it that often. As he was still there I called Maytag to let them know that the gasket was gone and it was only 2 years old and she wanted to talk with the tech. When he got on the phone I heard him say well, defective or wear and tear. I got back on the phone and she said nothing they could do it was wear and tear. I spoke to her supervisor who was usless. I wrote to the corporate offices and they just called me back today 8/28/12 to say SORRY nothing they can do. I told them I have the defective part and they did not care. Please anyone out there be very careful when dealing with Maytag. They do not stand behind there products.

I had the exact same story with LG in Dubai, it seems try are all the same. I am looking now to buy a new one but reliable with good service, any suggestions?
!! Do not buy LG dishwashers, they will all leak and they will tell you we have no solution so all your money goes to waste in less than 2 years!!!
