I'm so mad at myself for not seeing this earlier!!!!  I noticed this month that I was being charged by MCQ Privacy Matters 123 for $23.95 a month.  What makes me so angry I didn't catch this until I pulled my statement today and it has been going on since January of 2009. I tried calling the number provided but a recorded message said no one was available to take my call.  Oh really! I then called my credit card company and they got MVQ on the line with us and of course she said I or someone in my home requested this.  I'm the only one that has access to the computer or my credit card.  I had never even heard of them before.  I told the rep. at MVQ it is a total scam.  They only agreed to cancel "my membership" so I didn't have to pay for April.  How big of them.  My credit card company gave me credit for March as well.  Drop in the bucket for what I paid them!!  Beware out there, check your statements closely.

I too just checked my bank statements and found out they have for two years taken $26.95 out of my account each month for two years.  I called them and asked who are you anyway?  The lady on the line could not tell me what they did for me.  Then she finally said they watch accounts.  I asked her when did I ever sign or authorize this and she said she did not know but when I signed up for classmates.com two years ago I must have authorized this.  I said no way would I sign up for such a non-service.  Then I asked do you have an address I can contact or write to about there services and she said there is no address.  I then went to the bank and had them call and take this off my account.  Now I have to watch my account to make sure they don't dip into it again.  They got over six hundred dollars out of my account before I notice.  I think they deal in small amounts so people don't notice.   They are true scammers.  and Thieves.

Well you can also add my name to the suckered list! I have been billed for over two years. I had the pleasure of speaking with a "supervisor", who stated that I not opted out during the 7 day grace period. What a crock of crap! How is this legal. Warning please do a better job of reviewing you monthly bank statements so that you are not also counted among the taken!

Well get this, I never ever ordered anything from them at all.  So no opt out, I never signed up.  I don't even know how they got my cc info and started charging me.  It's been going on for at least 3 months - fortunately, I caught it but only because the acct I use for this CC is very low in funds and I noticed a large gaping hole of money gone - my charges where almost 40.00 a month from them. How did they get my CC info?  I haven't ordered a credit score summary in over 7 years!  Obviously, either some company who has my CC # fraudulently signed me up or someone was checking my credit to see how much money I had and my accts and probably to get my acct #s to steal from me - now that is scary!  Has anyone traced these fraudulent charges to any other company or is this someone scamming through credit reports to get acct balances and #'s?  I have a hunch now that i think about it, because I remember someone asking if I wanted cc protection on another CC I had, but I said no and that was several months ago - this may or may not be related but it's the only time I can think getting asked about credit protection in the past year.
