Don't worry about competition decaying service

I am in the county of Highlands East, ontario,. This is as rual as you can get. I am on a well populated lake, 15 mins south of Bancroft, virtually on the major highway. I have no or at best spotty data or voice bandwidth. This is rediculous. I have traveled many third world countries that have better coverage, including being in the middle of a Jordan desert for a number of days and still be able to have far better reception than I have in Ontario. To competition, I say bring it on as they are the only ones who can effectively challenge the current status quo among the wireless  companies. same on the statue quo.
