I purchased a 3 piece leather set with a 3 year extended warranty in 2010 at Rooms to Go for my new home. Until this year ,I didn't realize I was sold a blended leather set instead of REAL Leather until I talked to a Brandon Petty from Rooms To Go about resolving my complaint. Mr. Petty stated that blended leather was printed on my invoice when I made my purchase, but I read my invoice again it was abbreviated . How in the world would I know that the abbreviation meant blended leather when the sales associate never warned me . I think that they make sure that they withhold this information because many consumers would not buy blended leather . The only thing that I was over from Rooms to go was $708 and they would come and pick up the furniture that I purchase. I even contacted the warranty dept. and was told that my warranty only covered discolorations. So now after spending over $1800 for this junk, I have furniture that has to be covered by blankets. I never even heard of blended leather until my leather set began to bubble, peel and tear. I was totally shocked when Brandon Petty only wanted to offer me $708 which I had to use at Rooms To go. But, I would have to come out of my pocket for the difference when you know how high Rooms To Go's furniture is. Please DO NOT EVER SHOP @ ROOMS TO GO or buy their warranty plan because they are CROOKS!!!!

Sounds like they made you an offer even tho your warranty expired. Most "crooks" wouldn't do that. People should know when they walk into a retail store like Rooms To Go and you find... lets say, a 3 piece leather sectional for $1800, that its not 100% leather. A single 100% leather sofa can be 2-3 grand easy. Do some research before you shop and whine about your own ignorance.

Stay away from this store.  I bought several thousand dollars worth of furniture here. Items purchased were a dining room set, living room set, and entertainment center. Everything we bought was defective.  Spoke to Manager Jackie who is extremely rude and inflexible.  First was told they would replace furniture then she went back on our agreement.  Had to get BBB.org involved and still was never completely resolved.   Staff never calls back when they say they will and do NOT stand behind their products.  Ended up buying some of the furniture at City Furniture.  Everything was delivered next day and in perfect condition.  Stay away from this place!
