Helping me with confusing plane tickets

I did not put middle names on my tickets and was told I’d have to by all new tickets 8,000 and I was distraught but Burdun called the airline for me and was told as long as our first and last names matched our passports we were good to go, Thank you from the bottom of my heart God Bless You
