Refund

Last month on Feb. 18 i bought the AirJordan Retro 4's. I quit my job last week and i decided to return the shoes today just because i need the money. The shoes have never been worn and i have the receipt with it as well. I went to return them to foot locker and they did not want to refund me my money. They said they are not allowed to refund on those shoes. It does not say that anywhere on the back of the receipt. What can i do?
