I have received numerous unsolicited phone calls. I don't even have any unpaid balances on my credit card yet I get these calls telling me they will lower my interest rates. I try to call back and it is a bogus number. I finally got a dummy that when I asked who was calling she gave me the name Card Service, I then told her I really needed them and who was I speaking to. She gave me her name and even spelled it for me Pamela Hossmasn. I then told her I don't give out personal information without being able to verify who I was speaking with and in order to do this I needed a call back number. She gave me this number 877-212-3635. I then informed her that I was tired of these calls and have asked numerous times to be taken off their list. I get calls even at 9 PM.
Most of the telemarketers will hang up on me if I ask for any information from them. Some say that they need to connect me with someone else to take my information and see if I am qualified.
This is ridiculous. I now play a game with them, when they call I say what, what, I am heard of hearing, with each statement/question they ask I say repeat it please, I can't hear. They get louder and louder until they are shouting in the phone. One girl even said she got a real winner here. After 5 minutes of them shouting and my not hearing (nothing wrong with my hearing) they finally give up and hang up. What can I do to get rid of these calls?

They may be the same Florida-based telemarketer widely known for calls from "Heather with account services".
You could put your phone number on the Do Not Call list and keep filing complaints.
There may also be various ways to block calls from specific numbers, either by paying for a service through your phone company, or using a feature of some phones, but with scum like this, they will just keep changing their numbers. There are boxes you insert between the incoming line and your phone to block autodialed calls.
