time it took to get food

I was at the burger king right off Mule Road in Toms River yesterday. After ordering the food we sat there for 5 minutes then they said to pull up and park and they will bring the food out. 20 minutes later they come out with the guys food who was 2 cars behind us. They then came over and said our food is cooking right now. 15 minutes later they finally bring the food out. I didn't think fast food meant 40 minutes wait time.
