How does dish charge for services that don't exist? I own one of my receivers it is a 522, which is a dual tuner DVR. They charge me for a signal to that receiver in the amount of 7.00 a month then they charge me a 7.00 a month fee for the DVR service even though that is something my receiver does itself inside of it via the hard drive. How can they charge me for what MY receiver does also the charge me a second time for the same signal even though that is a function of the equipment I own also. It has a splitter inside that splits that original signal into two different tuners inside the receiver itself. There is only one coax cable hooked up to it. That should be considered fraudulent charges. How many people are they doing this to? I would like to know how many people out there live in PA who owns at least one of their receivers that is a DVR that they are charging the DVR service to. I am going to call the state attorney general office in Erie Pa to file a complaint and if anyone else is in the same boat in Pa I will post who I speak with so they can also talk to the same person.
