This debt was deleted from my credit reports, and charged off in 2011.

They some how got my pay as you go phone number and just today started calling over and over saying well you have to pay us.

I told her no I don't the debt doesn't exist anymore.

She said that this didn't matter

Each state has a statute of limitations for how long a creditor has to sue on an alleged debt.  In many states, this is in the 4 to 6 year range, but it can be reset on making a payment or agreeing to pay the debt.  Often debt collectors attempting to collect on very old out of statute debt attempt to use abuse and intimidation to coerce even a small payment, to reset SOL and give them an opportunity to sue again.

Debts can only be reported on credit reports for at most 7.5 years after the date of first delinquency.

When did the alleged debt originally become delinquent?
