Promise of a refund not met

As many people have found out, Peak Life leaves a lot to be desired regarding business ethics. I, as many others, received an unrequested months supply and accompanying charge. I spoke with a couple of Peak Life people and after threatening to report the Company to the Illinois Attorney General's Fraud Division, was promised a refund. I received an email back on Jan. 6, 2012 assuring me that the refund was being processed that day but that it might take 7 business days to get back into my account. It is now March 6th and I still haven't received that credit. I now intend to report Peak Life to the Fraud Division of the Illinois Attorney General's office.

They are trying to run out the clock and delay you past the point where you can get your money back through a bank dispute.
File a fraud dispute to the charge through your bank. Your bank can reverse charges if you dispute them within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charge, under FRB Reg. E or FCBA.
Thank You,
Peak Life
