Is there any connection between these scammers and any site that you did provide your credit card number to?  Have you recently ordered anything on a "trial" basis, or provided a credit card to pay "shipping and handling"?

Dispute the fraudulent charge in writing thru your bank.  Close the account.
File complaints with the Nevada Attorney General, FTC, and BBB.

Never use debit or check cards, and cancel any that you have.  Never give out your bank account information.  Use only credit cards for on-line or retail purchases.

I would like to file a complaint against BSM Grant Search Assistant, Las Vegas, NV.  This company has been taking money out of my account without my permission.  I am sure they have gotten well over $100.00 that they have stolen.  I wish they could be put in jail for the fraud they have committed against a disabled person.  They are taking money I need to pay my living expenses, health expenses, and groceries.  I have Multiple Sclerosis and have had same for over 30 years.  I have suffered every single day of those 30+ years.  Scan artists like these should be punished severely.

I ordered the government grant cd for $1.99 on March 11 08. Since then additonal money have been taken out of our account for the following amounts. $1.00 $7.95 and $39.95. My daughter was diagnosed with leukemia May 7 07 just two weeks after arriving in the USA from England. My husband and I have been finding it hard to manage not just emotionally but financially. And to top that stress of my daughter having cancer BSM Grant Search in Las Vegas has been stealing money out of our account. I will be going back to the bank tomorrow to fill out a form for fraud. BSM has made our account go overdrawn and they should pay all monies taken and the overdraft fee of $26.00 back to us. The total owing including the overdraft fee is 76.89.
This is ridiculous that we are struggling as a family and these people are taking money from numerous individuals accounts and getting away with it.

Like all the others above I ordered the gov't grant cd.  Now I am receiving monthly charges which were not authorized.  When I called their number to cancel (866-370-7270) the woman that answered would not accept that fact that I wanted to cancel until I became insistant.  These peole are crooks and run a scam.

I too fell into this and fortunately I can look at my credit card charges online and saw the $39.95 change plus a couple of small charges.  I called them at the number you mentioned and not until I ask to speak to someone that could authorize the credit to my account did they say they would do it.

Give them a call at 800-479-0979 and see what you can do and then file complaints with the Nevada Attorney General, FTC, and BBB.

Ok, I fell victim to this as well. Shame on me
for not paying attention to my account.

I did call 866-370-7270 and the cancellation
took all of 90 seconds to complete.

I then called my CC company and was able to
establish a dispute ticket, so no further
    charges would be incurred.

All is well now, but this does compel me to
    pay closer attention to detail.

I hope all of you who are trying to get some
    sort of satisfaction are successful.

    Better days ahead...James

I also fell for this and am filing a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General.  I cancelled the account but when you submit your credit card information you are not prompted to agree with terms and conditions as you are in normal transactions.  It is at the bottom of the page out of view when you do submit your account info thinking you are agreeing to pay $1.98.  They only got $17.95 out of me, but wow.  They refused to refund any money and almost sounded like he was reading off a script prompting me to enter 'a' for my name and IL as the state to prove the terms and conditions were on the site (yet out of sight).  This leads me to believe they get the same call ALL the time.  That is how they are making their money, by duping consumers out of it.  The "manager" was snotty and seemed to believe this was an ok practice.  I hope they are punished and if this practice is allowed by the law, something is seriously wrong.  Even in my email receipt there was NO mention of a 7 day trial, 14 day trial, or any charges.  There was no receipt sent to me when they DID charge me... ugh!
