I shop at Ross quite often and this day I had bought 6 pair of shoes went back the next day and bought 7 more pair but the Michael Korr shoes had only had half a price tag and on the bottom of the one shoe was written 70 so the cashier said that was what she had to charge me I told her to call another Ross store and she said no that the price is marked on the bottom of the shoe which is 70 do I want to buy the shoes or not so than I said these other shoes that I am buying have numbers on the bottom also so does that mean that's the price of these shoes she said no these shoes have prices tags on them so I said than what do these numbers mean on the bottom of these shoes she's said I don't know,I said than how do you know what to charge me for the Michael Korr shoes if you
don't know what the number mean on the bottom of the she so she said let me look up something when she was done she said to me the original price for these shoes our $150.00 so that mean Ross's would sell them for that price are you going to buy them or not we our getting ready to close what our you going to do so I bought the shoes and left the store. So about a week later I went to another Ross store and seen the same pair of Michael Korr shoes for $39.99 so I had my receipt and the shoes in the car when to the customer service department told the manger the situation and all I want is the difference that Ross owned me I was charged 70.00 dollar and the price was only $39.99 so she said I would have to go back to the store where I bought them so they could look up on the camera if these were the shies I bought I have my receipt ma'am u you to take them back to where you bought I don't have the means of looking at the tape to see if these our the shies that you bought from our store. So your calling me a liar said no I am not if your not calling me a liar than you will be able to do the transaction she said no you need to take them to the Ross store where you bought them so they can look up the tape on the camera. So you don't believe me which is your calling me a liar even though I have my receipt bought these shoes a week ago I haven't were them and you won't help me. She said I can't. So I left went back to the store were I bought them (ross) and tell the manger their the situation and she said how do I know these shoes our $39.99 I just told you I was at the Ross store in Newark and seen than I was so upset I said you didn't hear a word I said when I first came up to the counter did you so I have to repeat myself because you acted like you were listen and in reality you weren't you were just saying a ha for no reason at all. Why don't you call the other Ross store to find out if I was their and find out the price of these shoes so she did just that and said what I can do is give you back the $70.00 dollars and I can't resell you the shoes I said I want the shoes so I will just re but them for the correct price of $39.99 she said no she couldn't do that that the shoes would have to put the shoes back on the shelf for reselling that she didn't have the approval to do that her self and they would be put back in the floor tomorrow. So I said what if they our sold by the time I get here tomorrow I really want these shoes she said she couldn't do anything about it if they were sold. Now by this time I had had enough of employees tell me that 70 on the bottom of these shoes were the price of the shoes when all the shoes I bought that day had numbers also on the bottom of them and they were different numbers being called a liar a manger that didn't not care about a Ross customer in wanting to resell her the shoed she preferred to put the shoes back on the floor. I had enough took my money and left the next day I brought back all 13 pairs of shoes that I had bought at that ROSS store which was $478.25 dollars that Ross had to give back to me and lost out on $478.25 dollars and a
lost a loyal customer and will be telling her friends and family not to shop their anymore due to Ross employees making up price if their is no price tag on the item that they are buy but if their is a written number on that item that's what they will sell it to you for even though its 10 times more than the original price. They our to lazy to go and find the correct price they just want to get to the next customer so they don't care if you buy it or not. They probably say most of the customers wouldn't know the difference if they were being told that that is the price because you would normally believe the cashier Ross Employees would not make up such a thing. Will it happen to me. And you bet I will be telling all. I got no apologies or I had made an mistake nothing nothing at all.
I would surely look into this situation because if this is happening in other ROSS stores imagine how much of billion of dollars that ROSS'S stores would have to pay back to their customers for being over changed if this happens to get told to a news paper or even told to I Think his name us Michael Finndly of Chanel 7 News.
