Torn clothes and flooding
Complaint

We bought our washer in July of 2010. I have noticed for probably the last year that our washer was completely ripping up some of our clothes. I thought it was only happening if we put too much laundry in so I starting putting in less, which didn't help the problem. I had been meaning to check if there were other people who had this issue and low and behold find page after page of the same complaints on the internet. Some of the advise I have seen is to lower the spin speed but even when I wash my clothes on the delicate cycle they are still being torn. I'm soo sick of it ruining my clothes. I've also see that other people have had another issue that I had in which socks can get sucked up into the hose and you end up with water pouring out the front of your washer. My husband has had to dismantle the machine twice to fix this issue. I do still have a warranty although it doesn't sound like it's going to do any good unless Whirlpool replaces our washers or does something to fix the issue. I guess I'll start having Lowes come out all the dang time too look at it and maybe they'll get soo sick of all the complaints they'll get involved. I thought Whirlpool was a trusted name but I'm re-thinking that now. I really wish someone would start another class action lawsuit against Whirlpool. If they think the mold issue is bad, this is 100 times worse!! LOTS OF MONEY WASTED!!!!
