There are now a total of 8 deductions from account ranging from $1.25 - $39.95 for a grand total of $90.59.

I have telephoned GrantSearch who claimed that all charges were authorized "unless I cancelled".  GrantSearch said that I ordered a CD from them for $1.29 and all the other charges are "monthly charges" for their services that are currently available.

I cancelled the services and the charges are supposed to be backed out of my checking account.  However, when I checked today, there were three new charges pending.

You are dealing with a scam.

They use a small "shipping and handling fee" for a "free trial" as an excuse to get your account information, then they keep charging until you stop them.

They will keep charging your account until you close it, regardless of whether they promise to cancel or refund anything.

If you file complaints, they will either claim they have no record of any cancellation, or that it was just a "mistake".

Contact your bank immediately to dispute the fraudulent charges and close that account.  File complaints with FTC, your state AG, and the AG in the state they are located in.
