On our Scotland trip in July suffered a flat tire (tyre, ha). To shorten our story, since NO SPARE was provided and the tech therefore couldn't mount one, we chose to not lose any more time (they wanted to tow us back to Edinburgh from Dundee for another vehicle!!!!!) nor the B & B reservation money by buying an exact match tire to head on our way. We've been trying to resolve the issue requesting reimbursement for the new tire when today we received a charge for the tech to mount a spare tire they knew wasn't there when they sent him out!!!! They don't put spares in their vehicles!! We contacted Amer Express whom put a hold on and blocked further charges (especially after we found Europcar had charged 18 bucks on our card that we'd missed previously in Aug). Tried more times today for resolution found USA numbers an email on line with them- 4x busy on the number, 2x email returned as addressee not valid. Sent another email to UK for valid US contacts. UGH!!! found this site by accident this afternoon and amazed at all the complaints which are carbon copies of ours.
