I have to my greatest surprise received text messages from my bank for debit alerts of USD24.95 with respect to budget savers. I did not authorize such payments to any body. I wish that all monies deducted so far should be credited back to me and further withdrawals stopped.

    Although the name "budget savers" referred to in your text message is known to be connected with some "discount club" known to use deceptive marketing to defraud consumers with small charges, that does not mean the text message is accurate.

    Just because you received a text message, claiming to be from your bank, does not mean it is really from your bank.  If it provided a contact number to call, and you call that number and provide identification, you may find you are dealing with a scammer trying to drain your account, using a phony message crafted to look like some "bank alert" to panic you and fool you into disclosing account and identity information.

    Only contact your bank directly, by a bank customer service phone number directly from your records or statements, to find out if there is really any fraudulent charge to deal with.
