I have warranties on both of my vehicles with this company. I have made two claims and both have been denied. One for a transmission and one for an alternator. I have the same story as everyone else. I want my money back. If there's a lawsuit involved or any help someone can give me, please do.

I am in the same boat with Consumer Direct Warranty Services, Allied american Warranty. I too purchased an extended warranty only now I can get no help at all. This place has no numbers where you can speak dirrectly to a person and the Allied American Warranty which was the seller has since shut down.  I am out over $1,800.00! I guess I will contact the Insurance Commissioner for assistance too.

We have made several claims with Consumer Direct Warranty Services.  The first one, we had no problems getting the claim taken care of.  Today, the car repair place was able to get in touch with them once, they told him we'd have to pay the deductible. Then, someone from Consumer Direct Warranty called my repairman and told him the claim was denied that the service was not covered.  All our other claims have been denied, denied, denied.  Like other complaints I have read, I,too, have tried to call them and can only get a recording.  I am going to send them an e-mail at an address listed on the recording.  I can only hope the e-mail will be answered.  My next line of attack will be to get in touch with the Insurance Commission and, if their is a class action suit in the works, I'll join that.

I want to go after the company that sold me my CDWS policy and I need to find out when CDWS first began denying claims in mass numbers.  The company that sold me the policy admitted that they knew that claims were not being paid so I am trying to find out if they started denying claims long before my policies (yes, 2 of them) were paid in full.  If they had knowledge of this then they should have warned me at some point so I could have stopped making payments and save a lot of money.
    thanks,
    jjd
