Took advantage of us & is charging us for it

We called Dish network for satellite signal problems.  They sent out 2 guys that told us we were eligible for an upgrade.  Got someone on the phone & we agreed to the upgrade.  Also sold us a new router & power surge.  One guy said he make all the necessary calls for this to happen.  He set us up on automatic payments along with the cost of the router, etc.  The next several days & a guy came out & took the old dish satellite & installed a new one.

A month later I received a bill from Dish network I knew that wasn’t right because I signed up for automatic payments & it was a different price too (lower).  I called dish & that was when I found out dish network technicians had actually signed me up for a different company!!!

Now Dish claims I owe for a month of service I never received from them because the other guy physically removed the DISH satellite & took it with him.

I believe we were taken advantage of because we are elderly.  Why would a company send out technicians that also work for other companies if not???
