I got this machine last year at Christmas time. So it's only maybe 14 months old. Paid ALOT of money for it because I expected to have it a long time. For several months now it has been giving me problems. It goes into the sensing mode and then kicks off and unlocks the lid. It takes me 20 minutes or more at times of fighting with it before it finally catches and actually runs the load of clothes. Now I'm stuck with a machine that sucks and cannot afford to buy another one or fix it for that matter. This seems to be a common complaint from what I've been reading and it should be recalled. I will NEVER buy another Maytag product after this. I EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!
