    Joy Connor  731-989-2033 or 731-234-3654   Acct# 40909761     I am a new direct tv customer and very unhappy with the service guy that came to my home. He messed up my wireless that we have not been able to use in a week. He said he did not know how to install it He stayed at my house for 5 hours and left  everything in a mess. I would appreciate  getting this matter taken care of promptly and professionally. thanks, Joye connor

    I HAD A CONFIRMED DATE OF 10/17/12 TO HAVE MY H.D. UP GRADED. I STAYED HOME AND WAITED IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE BETWEEN THE HOURS 8.00AM AND 12.00PM  BUT NO ONE SHOWED UP OR CALLED TO DO THE WORK. ALSO SOMEONE HAD CALLED ME ON 10/15/12 TO CONFIRM THEY WOULD BE THERE. SO ON 10/17/12 AFTER 12.00PM I CALLED DIRECT TV AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T DO THE INSTALL FRIDAY. THIS IS NOT AWAY TO RUN A BUSINESS AND I AM VERY DIS-SATISFIIED.

    I contacted the customer service department of Direct TV and told them that I had to discontinue their service explaining that I was going into the hospital for surgery and would probably be in the hospital for a couple weeks after that I would be in a rehabilitation facility for a number of weeks after that.  After rehabilitation I would have to stay with my daughter and did not know when or if I would be able to come home.  I dealt with all sorts of headaches and problems with everyone I spoke to.  Additionally, each one told me of the "disconnect fees" that I would have to pay and that they would charge my card they had on file.  I explained that I was a 75 year-old widow with health issues, but either they did not believe me, or their "policy" is the end of it.  

    I would like to speak with an officer in charge of customer relations to see if I can't get thjis issue resolved.  I can't seem to get anywhere with anhyone I have spoken to so far.

    I own some property and one of my tenants was getting dish hooked up and they contract this work out and this person put the dish on top of my roof shingles now have lag bolts thru them and they just pass the buck just like I would expect and years ago they grounded the cable to a natural gas line with gas going thru it and it arched a hole right thru the galvanized pipe. I do not know where these people come from but property owners and managers beware they will pass on responsibility to someone else.  In conclusion they will be charged with trespassing next time they enter my property!!!!!!!!

      I have the same issue They put the dish on my roof shingles off and on 3 times . 5 months later that was May 13 , 2013 . I did not have signals , they sent other contract came and relocated the dish and leave the legs , bolts and holes.
      Now I have to hire some one to take a look my roof shingles and estimate the damage.

    New customer. The direct TV man buried my wire and cut into my electric wire. My wire is now exposed.  Someone needs to fix this problem.

    I would not be doing business with direct tv if it wasn't that the picture is very nice on my HD tv, BUT the comapany themselves need some help. They came to connect my new service to a home I purchased in December 2013 , first day came and said had to put on roof and didn't have a laddar so would have to come back which took them another whole day. The tech who came to the house was very very rude to my wife and had no intention on hitching up that day as it was storming and to cold and he just wasn't doing it as he stood there and made faces to my wife. I called asked them not to send him to my house again and guess who showed up the following day him and a supposely supervisior well to get to the story one of the rooms didn't hav ea receptable so they put on well lets say they drilled a whole thru athe outside of my house ran a wire down the house and attached it with about 12 bolts and ties accross the outside of the house to the box. I need to mention that the vconnections where in the house with four of them that they should have done thru the inside of my house ZI now have holes all thru the outside of my house and have been waiting a weel for someone from there office to come and do an adjustment cost to repair it. Now when I wait one week and call told that a claim was put in but nothing else was done and I have to go on line to do this and told to call another number. After this I will report this company to the Attorney General and BBB because they shouldn't be performing services that they don't know how to perfessionally. A home is a large investment that people work hard to have for working all your life and a company shouldn't be able to distory this without even mentioning to the homeowner that was what had to be done to get TV in that room which at that point it would have been my choice to do that, but I know that they wouldn't install the service to their home in that matter. PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH DIRECT TV!!!!!!
