rental scam

I rented a car at London Gatwick for a week. Of course I already paid for it and of course they did the usual forced upgrade and insurance. I drove 2 miles away from the airport and the clutch broke in a mass of smoking glory. So of course they said it was my fault...I've driven a clutch for years. It's why crap! So of course they charged me for that and again for an automatic.  The 100 dollar rental car ended up costing 800 dollars...I could have purchased an old car for that. Suck bags and oh, rude at every level. I'm going to block them from making additional charges after the fact. NEVER renting from them again.
