Am sure this is a scam and think calling phone number on card would be to no avail. A friend has rec'd many phone calls and postcards, too. She is 84 yrs. old and tired of it. Really wish something could be done about this.

If you think it's a scam and you do not want her to receive any more notices then you should call the number on the postcard and ask them to take her off their mailing lists.

File a complaint with your local DA consumer fraud and elder abuse unit, as well as the Missouri Attorney General, who recently sued them.

If they continue calling despite requests to stop, and it is obvious your friend is old, they are specifically targetting her because they realize she is vulnerable to fraud due to her age.  They may even have obtained her name, address, and phone number by purchasing a "sucker list" from some other scammer.

Even if your friend won't or can't make this complaint herself, do it for her.  Most such complaints are filed by friends or family trying to protect those they care about.  Many states have "enhancements" to penalties for fraudulent activity targetted against the elterly.

I called the number and asked them to remove me from the list. No they didn't. That is the third time.
