I am handicapped and find it difficult to reach the phone before the answering machine picks up! This number hung up on me - 866-797-7639. I would like to know who is the culprit.
Put your number on the FTC Do Not Call list. Then after 30 days, telemarketers are required to scrub their call lists against registered Do Not Call numbers.
If you are an Allstate customer, contact Allstate and tell them to cease calling you.
If not, that should stop the calls. If you are still having problems getting them to cease calling, you can file FTC Do Not Call complaints and contact your state Attorney General.
