l ordered, what l was led to believe , 2 'free' products from this company...upon arrival l was then aware that after a 14 day introductory period l would be billed £69.95 for each product...l also recieved an extra bottle of colon flow which l had definately not ordered. l was told l could return the two bottles but had to pay for the 3rd, and that the money would automatically be taken out of my account. l informed trading standards as l believe the information supplied on their website is misleading and innacurate. l cancelled my debit card and the bank have placed a dispute notification on my account but l have been told that payments may still be processed, so as a last resort l have decided to close the account.......now heres where the fun starts.....after recieving more unwanted products l phoned the supplied number and spoke to the rudest woman on earth.....her name was apparently nicole...she was threatening abusive and just downright nasty...she informed me that if they couldnt retrieve the money that l would be visited by debt collectors and she would ensure that my credit rating was wrecked,she then told me that a previous employee who had confirmed that the second bottle had not in fact been ordered, was new to the company and didnt know her job properly. l had a witness to the previous conversation and the woman in question had given me a confirmation number. ln short, this so called company is known by trading standards in the uk, but is outside the jurisdiction of our legal system. The address given to me by the witch from hell, is in fact an office suite based in cheshire, the directory enquiries operator was very helpful when l explained the situation to him, and gave me the numbers of all 5 companies that trade from that address, all of which were very cadgy when l phoned them. Please please please do not fall for this scam, you will be robbed blind....after much research l have discovered that my details will be passed to third parties and l may be subject to fraudulent activity on my account. to say that l am angry with myself for falling for this would be an understatement.....this company needs to be terminated.

Rang the bank, they more or less said that I'd have to change my account and card and there's not much else they could do apart from report it to their fraud department to investigate.
Technically it isn't even fraud, as "buyer beware" rules apply. Customers are obliged to read any conditions before they buy. Where did I put that pocket microscope?
The thing that gets me is that such scams can happen again, and again, and again, and again .....
They even advertised on TV Channel 4 in the UK!
