Run, don't walk from buying this furniture. 2 yrs ago we purchased a 2-seat leather reclining sofa and an oversized reclining chair. By the time we had the 3rd sofa delivered because of defects in the stitching, leather and construction we were sorry we purchased it in the first place. But given it was the size and color we were after, we decided to keep it and hope for the best. Now 2 yrs later (and only adult use), one of the reclining seats in the sofa has a broken mechanism which does not allow it to lock in the down position. Called Macy's and they suggested I call the company to see 1) if the mechanism is still produced and 2) if we can buy directly from them (for a charge). We did not purchase the "extended warranty" from Macy's because we thought it was a waste of money given it was furniture and what could possibly go wrong? Then Macy's will come out to install for $75/per hr plus tax. I called the company in NC 2 days ago and have heard absolutely nothing back from them yet.
