i was just charged 40.70 from an ultimate beans & tea direct from evanston,il.i dont know why and would like to know how ,when ,and who used my card to buy this stuff. i would my money credited back to my account ....this is a fraudulent charge...thank you ....

    Immediately contact your bank to dispute all fraudulent or unauthorized charges, and close your account to prevent additional fraudulent charges.  Follow up with a written dispute to your bank, send to the dispute address from your statement, and make sure your bank receives it within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing disputed charges to preserve your FRB Reg. E dispute rights.


    There is a company in evanston IL with many complaints of "cramming" unauthorized charges.  Usually they get account numbers through "teaser" offers, then they are reported to pile on additional charges and shipments at much higher prices.

    If this is a charge against a debit card, you should know that having active debit and check cards represents a security risk to your money in your checking account.  

    Do NOT have or activate such cards.  Use only ATM cards requiring PINs at ATM machines of your own bank.  Use checks only for payments to companies you know and trust.  Never provide your checking account number for direct ("phone check") or automatic charges.  

    Use only credit cards for all other retail or on-line purchases, since they are less disruptive to other creditor payments should you need to dispute or block and close credit cards due to fraud.

    I contacted the BBB and submitted a complaint about this company. I ordered a trial of the coffee having 14 days TRIAL and within one week (2 days after receiving coffee) they took $116.89 out of my account. I called them and they said they had to receive the shipped orders back that they sent me. One month later they conferred receiving the two orders they sent but charged me for three. They said it would take two months for me to get my refund. I got in touch with the BBB. Ultimate Beans said on Sept 29 they would refund my account in 72 hours. I am still waiting. It is now 8 days. I just replied to the lies Ultimate Beans wrote to the BBB. I should have my $116.89 real soon. This company Ultimate Beans/Tea is a SCAM COMPANY. I wish I would have known that. This is the 1st time I have ever been taken like this. Know 2 times. I placed an order at K2smokes for my daughter and they have scammed her out of over $140.00.
