Technician came to repair new icemaker malfunctioning, told on the phone it would be a $65.00 service call. Tech came early in the day (good thing) but did not repair ice maker instructed us to repair the saddle valve by purchasing one that you drill an 1/8 hole for rather than a self tapping and then charged us $144.00. Went to 3 major hardware stores looking for this "drilled hole saddle valve" only to find out that they don't exist. Will never use Sears Repair Service again. We called rthe Sears resolution center and all they offered to do was send another technician out for another $144.00 charge, what a scam! They are early to their appointments to give bad advise. take your money and then run.
