I just filed the following complaint with the FCC:

The DSL service associated with this telephone number has been down for two weeks.  We've called Verizon technical support numerous times, spent hours on the phone with them, had their service technicians out to our site, and it's still not working.  Everyone we speak to at Verizon tells us something different.  Some have been rude, sometimes they don't capture notes so we have to explain over and over.  I paid to have an independent contractor come in to resolve the issue, and after hours of work and spending time on the phone with Verizon tech support, she couldn't resolve the issue.

We even bought and installed a new modem per their instructions, only to find out from the tehnicians that there was nothing wrong with it or anything else at our end--it's a problem with the signal on their end.  They found this out two days ago, and we still have no internet connection.  They won't connect me with a supervisor to try to resolve the situation, either.

I need access to the internet to run my business.  I have no other alternative to DSL at this point.  I am totally at the mercy of Verizon, and they obviously don't care.  hat can the FCC do to help get my DSL service back and get remuneration from Verizon for my troubles?

    I just cancelled Verizon for the same reasons, at least once a month I had a problem no service and I feel like I should be a tech since I know all the troubleshooting steps and refuse to go through them with the rep! I switched to Cable modem, RCN cheaper!!! And so reliable and much faster!

      Who did you end up going with?  I'm looking to drop VZDSL, myself.

    I try to use my dsl every morning and every evening and cant even get i email.I am so pissed.
