Dear Sir/Madam,
With referance to my complaint request no - 10077559 dated 08.05.12 of the Sony India care, regarding my DVD Home Theater System product, Model No MHC-GNZ888D/CE12 13333681, had purchased approx 2 yrs before for domestic purpose.


My system found a small CAM problem in audio cassate motor drive, but one of your authorize service centre M/s Onus Services, Patna has informed that we need to change the whole player mechnism. Which is costing Rs, 6,000/- incliuding labor fee & taxes because spares (CAM) are not supplied by company. For the same i have received a Estimate copy from service centre.


Refer to Sony Service policy, Now my query are as as follows;
1. Clause no. 6, my system is only 2 yrs old, so all necessary spare parts to be provided by company atleast up to 5 yrs.
2. Clause no. 7, if spares are not readidly available, i'm ready to pay full advance to sourcing of the spares.


I'm using some other's product of SONY i.e DVD Handycam, Cybershot Still Camera. Actually i'm bit afraid due to service cost for a small spares non availability. Which is almost half price of product.


I'd purchased a wold class brand product not a Chinese product, which is called "just use and through". Being a coustomer, i should not be invest half of product price in minor service, better we should go ahead with new brand product.
