If you don't want to take the time to read the whole complaint, I get it. Just head my warning and NEVER use CheapOAir.com to purchase any of your travel needs. I travel a ton and this was the very first time I have ever booked with their agency and NEVER will I again. When I booked my flights "NEVER" did I select to opt into the "flex" flight schedule. I have traveled hundreds of times and have never had this issue. When you book through South West, you have to specifically select that you are ok and agreeing to flex dates. There was nothing that stood out to me, for me to know, the flex date was automatic or even given me the option to opt out. A few days after I had booked, I received two text messaged confirming my flights. There was no Flight information of any sort. Just stated they were confirming my flight and if I had any issues to contact their customer service. I left it at that. Then a few days later I get two emails confirming my flights again. It seemed odd to me that I kept getting these confirmations. So I followed the link on the email that took me to my booking page. There I noticed, they had changed my departure day, to a day earlier. I called right away, informing them, I did  not agree to flex flights and I would not be able to leave on the 24th due to having finals that very day. The gal I spoke to and mind you, I spoke to six different people, all who had middle eastern accents. She informed me, since I did not call within 24hrs of receiving the text, their was nothing they could do. I of course, informed her, "Nowhere in the text message did it state they changed my flight or that I needed to call within 24hrs" She referred me to her supervisor. I can't tell you how many supposid supervisors I got referred to. The new Supervisor called me back. Same thing, she needed to refer me to her supervisor, said he would call back by 7pm. and of course I did not get that call. today I received another email stating they changed my return flight . I call right away now, within the 24hrs they claim they can change it back. This time, they are trying to tell me, I booked it for the 24th, they did not change anything. I about blew a gasket. I told them to give me an email addresses because I'm going to send them a screen shot of my book from the first day and it clearly shows I booked it for the 25th. He then of course transferred me to yet another supervisor. This supervisor, understood 100% what I was saying and even gave me a little hope, it was all going to get fixed. But yet again he needed to transfer me to his supervisor for approval to change the flights. At this point in time I have been on the phone for over an hour. New #4 or maybe #5, I can't keep track by this point, supervisor gets on the phone. He tells me there's absolutely nothing they can do, too much time has passed. I blew that gasket... I told him to get me their legal department, that I will have my lawyer settle this because they obviously can't. He tells me  they don't have a legal department. Well buddy you better get one!! I told him, he has two options, 1 to FULLY refund my money, or I will have my lawyer contact the FFA because I am done dealing with them. After being on the phone for over and hour and a half and being  transferred to four different supervisors, he agreed to refund my money. Now all I have to do is wait 14 days for the refund. Complete and total waist of time!!!

kendra, our apologies for the inconvenience. We have looked over the reservation and found that you chose an alternate date for travel that we offered at a cheaper rate. Our site is set up to offer dates a few days before, or after your original search if they are cheaper. We also display this on the screen in red, as well as put it on your final confirmation page in yellow, "you saved $$ by choosing an a alternate /flexible date do you want to continue"? you selected that, therefore you were confirmed on may 24. You had 24 hours in which to call and let us know the date was wrong, but unfortunately that didn't happen, therefore the ticket was valid and all penalties and applicable fare difference was required if changes were being made. We send out 2 emails and it's important to review this information immediately to avoid issues like this.
