I received an email on July 12, 2010. On July 16,2010 I tried calling the number that was listed on the email. An Alleged Attorney with a thick Indian accent answered the phone after calling him twice. I asked him who he was representing and he stated EME Marketing. I asked this person what his name was and he stated that he was an Attorney Ricky Christy. I asked him in what was this email that was sent to me in regards to and he stated that I had taken out a payday loan from a company called EME Marketing from the internet. I stated to him that I have never heard of the company. This alleged attorney Ricky Christy stated to me that he was just going to "download" my alleged collection account to the court house and begin legal processing if I failed to cooperate. I then told this person that I thought that he was a scammer. He immediately got defensive and stated he was forwarding my case. This person Ricky Christy is located in Sunrise, FL. I have done an internet search and was unsuccesful on finding any payday loan company called EME Marketing. I looked through the yellow pages and did a search to see if I could find this person by name and phone number. Again, unsuccessful. I have contacted my Human Resources Dept and inquired if anyone had trying to get in contact with me and had negative results. This Email was very threatening and very upsetting!

I received a e-mail from this guy like the rest of you. I sent him a reply that it would be going to the attorney general. He sent me one back stating he was on his way to the courthouse to file against me. I am glad I saw this before I sent him any money.

I received the message but he had the nerve to send it on a fake Department of Justice letterhead. I was angry and amused at the same time. First he needs to learn the correct format for official letter writing. Second, that the department of Juaticw qould never notify you by email. Third, the department of Justice does not proscecute payday loans and lastly that I surely with all internet and identity theft fraud going on no one would fall for his [***] without checking every 3rd world english word he said. I told him I work for the US government and we work closelyt with the FBI so I would taking a copy of this [***] letter to the work the next day. I also told him I hope he'd collected enough to get hios ass out of the country if he was indeed in FL and if he was an attorney he was going to be disbarred for internet fraud because he he must have failed ethics.

    Important question
Anybody hear from a company called EMELUS supposed to be a vitual personal assistant? They want you to download a time tracker tool and basically help people around your area with reservations, travel plans etc...30 day trial $2,000 per month and then a company card for expenses.

Says a couple of hours of work a day with bonuses...Sounds to good to be true!

    Help-Scam?

i just got a call that from a woman named Nancy Rodriquez saying the same things as you all have stated. I did not remember doing anything like this and she still wanted me to settle it with her immediately or she was threatening legal action in my county. It did have a bit anxious. I told her I had been hit by identity theft and she explained how if they had my information, I could still lose in court. WOW! THANK GOD I saw this site. I hope they get shut down and never again harass people like this.
