allied Interstate collections keeps calling all the time and doesn't say anything and when I say that this call is being traced they hang up.  I inturn try to call them back and get a recording that keeps repeting over and over "this is allied interstate a debt collection agency" and know one ever picks up. The calls wont stop. I don't even know what this is for. the Phone number they use is 1-866-753-3671.

They may be attempting to collect an alleged debt you might owe, a debt they erroneously think you owe, or they may be calling you in error, trying to reach some other person.  Regardless, they have neither disclosed the purpose of their calls, nor have they provided a way for you to contact them to find out why they are calling you, yet they keep calling.

Repeated dead calls are harassment, which is a violation of FDCPA.

Since you cannot contact them to either find out why they are calling you, or even to get them to stop harassing you, contact your state Attorney General for assistance and to report their repeated harassing calls.  That should either get them to stop, or force them to send a collection letter so you can proceed to obtain validation to determine whether you even owe them anything.  There is no downside to forcing the issue.

If they continue harassing calls after your state AG contacts them, you might search out a consumer protection attorney.  FDCPA provides for attorneys fees if you prevail.

They are still up to no good, I made the mistake of trusting them, and they lied and stole from me. Please call them and let them know how you feel about them. 1-866-839-7652 or 716-206-3118

They called me and when I answered the phone after two rings, I got a dial tone.  I hate this type of thing.  As far as I know I do not have anything in collections, so I should not be receiving this type of phone call.
