CANCELLATION

I was a Bally's Fitness member for over 20 years and they were bought out by LA Fitness. I had no intention of renewing my membership after the switch, I was pretty much done with the gym. To my dismay and without my authorization, LA Fitness renewed my membership and pulled funds from my checking account. Never did I set up automatic withdrawal with Bally's. I do not know how LA Fitness bullied that one over my head. I want to cancel and be refunded my money but I cannot reach a customer service rep, it is a recording telling you what to do to cancel and then hangs up. I have not been to the gym in over a year, I need to cancel, but I want to make sure I am refunded for something I did not authorize. I have no idea how they are getting away with this cancellation process. As much as I hate to say it, especially in the trying times for people and jobs, I hope they run themselves into the ground.
