I WAS A BALLY'S FITNESS MEMBER FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND THEY WERE BOUGHT OUT BY LA FITNESS. I HAD NO INTENSION OF RENEWING MY MEMBERSHIP AFTER THE SWITCH, I WAS PRETTY MUCH DONE WITH THE GYM. TO MY DISMAY AND WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION, LA FITNESS RENEWED MY MEMBERSHIP AND PULLED FUNDS FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. NEVER DID I SET UP AUTOMATIC WITHDRAW WITH BALLYS. I DO NOT KNOW HOW LA FITNESS BULLED THAT ONE OVER MY HEAD. I WANT TO CANCEL AND BE REFUNDED MY MONEY BUT I CANNOT REACH A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP, IT IS A RECORDING TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO TO CANCEL AND THEN HANGS UP. I HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE GYM IN OVER A YEAR, I NEED TO CANCEL, BUT I WANT TO MAKE SURE I AM REFUNDED FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH THIS CANCELLATION PROCESS. AS MUCH AS I HATE TO SAY IT, ESPECIALLY IN THE TRYING TIMES FOR PEOPLE AND JOBS, I HOPE THEY RUN THEMSELVES INTO THE GROUND.
