elizabeth@us-navy.airforce has craigslist ad for Covered Wagon Continental - $1000.  Stating in a follow-up email "I will be leaving the country for a year on military duty along with my medical team. I do not want to store it and lose more because of devaluation."

There is no us-navy.airforce website - it's a fake military domain (real military domains usually end with .mil).

Thanks! I just saw an ad in craigslist and thought it was too good to be true. Elisabeth Harper with a military email address!!! She (or he) said that her husband died, etc etc. Unfortunately a lot of people fall for this [***].

As I said, it's not a military email address. Real ones end in .mil (army.mil, navy.mil, af.mil)

Also confirming I came across this scam. They wanted us to buy gift cards and then send the numbers on the back via email.

Only scammers ask for payment via gift cards.
