Recliner issues on both sofa and love seat.

We bought the Cat Napper sofa with electric recliners on both ends and the love seat with the electric recliners on both ends about either in late August or early September 2018 and we used the sofa just the two of us. We have no children and never used the love seat until about two weeks ago this October 2020. The sofa when you sit in it on both ends it makes you feel like you are leaning down on either the left side or right side depending on which end you sit on. It got so bad it is very uncomfortable to even sit in it because it hurts your back. So we started to use the Love seat about two weeks ago and it is doing the same thing but even faster than the sofa did. It looks like as much money that we paid for both pieces that they would last and hold up and not be like they are after just two years of use by just two adult older people living in the home. Is there and issue with the construction on the sofa and love seat. I feel like we threw our money down the drain. We will never purchase this brand or type of sofa or love seat again.
