Complaint

Country: United States
Supposedly associated with email address surveysampling.com.  Used autodialer.  Display number looked like spoof number.  Request to put number on SSI DoNotCall not honored.  Caller rude, sounded scammy.  Did not respond to question about nature of business.

Scammy "surveys" are often just an opening move for scammy telemarketers to get around the Do Not Call laws by claiming "you requested" their calls.

It's total nonsense, but "confusion" is a form of deception.

We get dozens of calls like the SSI call every week.  I've tracked the caller ID numbers, and they use a different number every time they call.  It's useless to block numbers.  What's really sad is that the FCC and telephone service providers appear to be unable and/or unwilling to do anything to stop these annoying calls.  It's incredible that the phone companies can't control who uses what number in their caller ID!

SSI calls multiple times per day/week/month using a different number each time.  406-559-3074, 406-559-3116, 406-559-3118, 406-797-5175, 406-559-3073, etc. This is the reason I can't block them since CenturyLink only allows 10 numbers to be blocked.  I no longer answer and they never leave a message.

We too receive numerous calls every day from caller identified as 'ssi' or 'gsi'- they use a variety of phone numbers and never leave a message.  They can't be legit.

They called here twice today. I thought calls like this were not suppose to be made on Sunday. I did not answer either time.

They keep calling here at all times of the day. And they use spoof numbers to look like they are calling from your area. I am so tired of it, it is time for the AT&T to put a stop to using the spoof numbers. It really irritates me when they call on Sunday tried to answer it and give they a speech about not calling me again. I am saving numbers to turn over to the Att. General.

They call several times every day. I have told the people I don't want to do their surveys but they keep calling. I looked them up online and their website says they will not call you if you email them at optout at dynata dot com. I tried that. If they "harvest" my email address, no big deal. My spam blocker should take care of that.

SSI-DYNATA  calls multiple times a day from multiple numbers. My number is on the "do not call" lot of good that's done. Ha! In the past I've asked not to be called. Lot of good that's done. Ha ha! Can't block by name and too many numbers to block!! Guess they've won.

These people have been calling us 2-3 times per day! No concern for the invasion of our privacy in our own home! It is absolutely disgusting that nothing can be done about this! Can all the lives they have disrupted, the elderly, the sick, the handicapped take any legal recourse against them?

Called last night after 9:30pm, if you do not want to receive these calls e-mail or call back to get on the do  not call list.  I called back, said it was after 9:30pm do not ever call me or anyone else. I don't want to do your survey or whatever you are selling.

The do not call list does not apply to ; surveys , charities nor legitimate political organizations .. unfortunately . And even if it did 90% of all entities legitimate or otherwise do not follow the rules set down because the Do Not Call is overwhelmed , under staffed and severely underfunded and can no longer handle the volume of complaints making their enforcement capabilities pretty much a moot point .

But ... by your telling them not to call you again ... if they do they ARE breaking the law subjecting themselves to harassment charges should you chose to press the case with your state attorney generals office and the FC
