If it's real, they can send a letter..
The scams just lie and say they did. You're supposed to imagine what this "account" is, and throw money at them. Never pay anything you can't confirm through written documentation against a real debt.

This phone # keeps calling my cell phone I always reject it today they left a message about if I don't want the police to come to arrest me it's best I contact them about back unpaid taxes , so when I called back the person wanted to know my name and I said you tell me you're the one that called me and he hung up defiantly not an American !!!
