I am having constant money being debited from my account.  These charges are not by my doing.  I would like a refund for all the moneys that were taken from me from:
                                               EXPERIAN FREECREDS 877 3002 CA

I have notified my bank as to possible fraud charges in this matter.  Please contact me regarding this matter immediately.

    Thank you,

I got the same exact charge on my account. I have not had any transactions or business with Experian in the past year, and I never signed up for any yearly programs with them so I have absolutely no clue what this charge is. I just filled out an "unauthorized electronic transaction" form and sent it to my bank. I hope I get this $14.95 reimbursed.

Seriously! My company accepts credit cards, and we always verify the Name on the card, so if Experian is really serious about preventing fraud that's the least they should do. Obviously they are not serious about preventing fraud, but actually just capitalizing on it!

Got charged for 14.95. Called number and rep said there must have been some typo in card number used by a person named Terry R.

Asked her what was the billing address used and she said they only use credit card number and expiration date to bill.

That made me almost fall on the floor.  I said that you're a credit monitoring company for Pete's sake!!! All online merchants ask for the name on the card and billing address.  So why not you?!?!?

    Really fishy ...

Find out at least being charged $14.95 same date monthly and sever different charges  by EXPERIAN *FREECREDS877-3002507, CA. Within 4 months this year, this company took nearly $300.00 from my account.

Same story here.  Fraudulent charges and when I contacted the company they told me that someone named Joshua H. had made the charge.  Asked for my zip code and then asked if I had used any other zip code.  They were very polite and quickly told me that I would be reimbursed the total amount.  I still called my credit card company and had the card cancelled so there would be no further charges.

Very fishy.  Very illegal.  I never placed these charges and apparently they had been charging me for several months.

Will wait the 7-10 days to see if the reimbursement is forthcoming.  They did promise a total reimbursement.

I have been bill twice on one account & one on another by Experian  all of which I did not authorize and when I called they said they would remove the charges and explained that somebody must have make a mistake  when entering the credit number for another customer.  "for two different account?!!!"  I'm searching for the right place to file a complaint.

Their site is being used by id thieves to steal credit reports using stolen credit card numbers. The credit report site security questions are being gamed by id thieves who just keep trying tuntil they hit a match.

Some id theft victim then gets his stolen credit report sold on black market sites, while the credit card theft victim sees fraudulent charges, and gets "signed up" for some credit monitoring service.

Experian claims they don't check names against the card info because people commonly use different credit cards for buying credit reports, like relatives.

If they are guessing the credit report questions, they may be guessing the card number expiration date, or maybe they buy the card info on the same sites they sell the credit reports.

Dispute all unauthorized charges through your bank, as fraudulent, and block the card number immediately.  Your bank can reverse the charges if you dispute promptly, generally within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charge, under FCBA.

Do NOT fail to block the card number.  It is not enough to block Experian charges, as your card info is in the hands of known thieves.

I have never ONCE pulled my credit scores on my own.... I think there may be another factor in all of this. Do any or all of you have At&t for your wireless provider? Not ONLY did I have the monthly $14.95 charges from FreeCreds, but the same person hijacked the fact that I had my at&t wireless phone bill on auto pay and incrementally started adding additional money to it, all the while paying for my bill as well as part of his/her bill IN AN AT&T STORE (Texas and Georgia). So not only is At&t accepting payment from people who don't have physical credit cards in front of them (which is a HUGE problem in itself), but these a**holes had enough information about me to know that I was paying my bill automatically. I'd advise all of you to go back and check your phone bills!!!!!!

If anyone knows of a way to submit a police report or file a formal complaint please pose here so that I may do so as well.
