We also bought "leather" furniture from Ashley . In less than 2 years it started cracking and peeling, falling apart. We took good care of our furniture it was not abused in any way.We were also suckered into buying an extended warranty by the salesman at Ashley. He told us it would be 100% covered no matter what. He said "your grandson could take a hatchet to it and it would be covered." Come to find its only covered for "accidents" not wear and tear. Lied to about what I was buying and lied to to be tricked into buying useless warranty coverage.

I have the same exact problem with a Stockholm "leather" sectional. I was deceived into believing this was leather and less than 2 years later its cracked and peeling. It's only been cleaned with leather cleaner as recommended. I also was conned into buying the extended warranty that does not cover peeling.

I bought leather furniture in October 2011 It started changing color after two months. I went in and exchanged this furniture for more expensive leather. And a five year warranty. It was repaired twice before one year was up.  After the year Ashleys refused to repair the furniture anymore  The warranty only applies if its accidentally damaged.   This furniture was over 1700.00 and is no good since two months after delivery. I was in the process of purchasing a bedroom set when I found out they wouldn't repair my sofa and loveseat I went to cancel the sale and was told Ashleys would give me a new couch to keep my business. I agreed but after going online and reading all of the complaints like mine I will not do business with Ashleys for anything. I hope a class action suit can be filed to make Ashleys refund everyone their money for poor quality furniture
