I had the worst service ever in my life! My dishwasher always stalls in the middle of a wash cycle. I suspect there might be thermostat or sth causing the problem... I need a professional to find out the details, that is why I would pay freaking 80$ for an expert, not a moron, to come in, to diagnose the issue!
Sears tech came in having absolutely no knowledge about my dishwasher (or any dishwasher) what so ever. He only listened to me half way and claimed I need a new panel without any examination. I had to show him the panel works! He then put his hands on the machine and said '' oh you need to change parts". why? It is only because my machine is an old model he does not know a thing about. He then called his boss asking which parts he should order... And his boss told him it's PC board.. then he started to calculate: fix old board 180 or buy new board 240 labor fee not included...so totally it's 380... then he suggested I should go to sears this weekend to get a new machine for 500$. And then he started the normal wash cycle without even put all things back in the machine that I disassembled. And with his help, for the first time and last time, the machine does not drain anymore. (After he left I put everything together and run a whole rinse cycle it worked and drained perfectly). He was there not addressing any issue but only calculating how much to charge me for 15mins and asked me how I would pay for today he's show-up-fee.
Sears tech goes to people's house to collect 80$ for nothing and try to sell them a new machine. He should work in sales department or robbery department instead of in repair earning you a 1.4 out of 5 star review score.
I had real technicians coming in to fix other problems before. Everyone of them would let me know what's wrong and what's going on and how to fix it to address the issues. your guy just came in and asked 80 and left. he didn't even offer to put the door all together for me.
Even I do need to change to a new dishwasher, I need to know why and where went wrong with this one, not some sales man come in to collecting show up fees.
I need my refund back and never a service is this awful. Pure fraud!
