I recently purchased a vehicle still have the factory warranty on it. However about 1 month later, I received a "Final Notice" in the mail stating that my warranty is almost expired and that I needed to extend it. Well, I called and gave them my miles and VIN. They gave me their offer of what plan I could get and the payments I would have to make. Well, I rejected it. They kept on asking why I would not want to buy such a great plan for my car. As many times as I said NO, they came up with something new to say that was supposed to interest me even more such as lower payments, etc.. I remember hearing on the radio that if something sounds too good to be true and they keep on insisting that you purchase something with their credit card then they are probably doing some type of scam business. I told them that I was done with the conversation and that I meant NO. Well, I hung up and they called back 3 times in a row without me picking up the phone. On their 4th try my husband told them to stop calling because they were harrassing us and then he hung up. Well, they didn't call anymore. Do Not Purchase anything from these Warranty places. Always call your actual dealership to confirm things before giving your info out.

They are high pressure scams.  Several are located in Missouri, and were recently sued by the Missouri Attorney General.

Here is one way to fight back. Call their 800 number from a land line (not your cell unless you have unlimited minutes!). Turn on your television, preferably to a sleazy shopping network, set your phone on speaker phone in front of the TV and leave it for as long as their computer will allow you to record a message. Repeat as necessary. I have cost them several hours of long distance charges and will continue until I feel better. FYI, for Automotive Warrantee Solutions of Boca Raton FL, the number is 800-376-5644.
I have also treated them to several hours of Sunday morning religious programming.
