Never send money for a trailer/RV you cannot see and inspect in person - or if the seller refuses to meet you (for instance, claiming to be in the military about to be deployed or transferred). If the seller wants you to pay for "eBay buyer protection" (which eBay does not offer for sales outside of their site), or pay for a "shipper/transport" that is supposed to deliver the RV/trailer to you - DON'T send any money (especially if they ask you to buy gift cards). And if the price is too good to be true, and they claim they want to get rid of it because it belonged to their dead/divorced spouse and it "brings bad memories" - they probably have no trailer or RV to sell!
