So I just got off the phone with one of the worst displays of customer service I have ever had.  First of all, the automated voice can never understand you and it only takes you longer to actually get to the place you need to go, secondly once I was with the FIRST phone representative we spent over ten minutes just on security questions alone, which I all answered correctly, but for some reason the lady kept making me ask more, its like why don't you ask the most obvious question fist (date of birth and address) instead she makes me answer all these "security" questions that don't make any sense.  So the first lady tells me I do not have a student account, so I get a little freaked out since I was under the impression that the whole 5 years I've had the account it was for students, so sweet jesus I'm kinda gonna get a little stressed out.  And the worst thing you can possibly do to a stressed lady is tell them to calm down, or say "please can you bear with me for one more moment" so she then transferes me to another representative and there I get looped around again with the security questions that I already spent more than enough time going through, then she tells me in fact I do have a student account, and when I try to tell her the last person told me otherwise she simply ignores my statement.  So who am I suposed to believe here?  Not only that the lady was completely disrespectful and rude.  I'm going to despise the next time I have to do this.  Jesus Bank of America, get some better and HAPPIER reps on the phone.  SERIOUSLY!

Worst call center experience of my life. They send you from one department to the next and drop your call on the way. Incompetent people!

Worked in call centers and managed call centers for many years. People calling in to service a question or request, the majority, are the rudest, evil, most obnoxious people you will ever hear from a day. After taking 150-200 calls a day, 98% of which are extremely rude, and blame you for things that you, the associate, do not have control over, doing this for several months is enough to make you want to murder yourself and everyone around you. Eventually, you break, and hate life. That's why call centers have high attrition. They are people. Get yelled at all day by scum of the Earth, and you don't give a *%|> anymore. It's. it their fault. Luckily, I have thick skin, and I can kiss [***] of the average [***]...ahem...customer.

John Stamos - I am sorry you had a frustrating job.  However you should know that the reason people are mad is because the system you were part of is designed, by those who control access to people who can actually solve a customer's problems, from the customers.  Bank of America is uniquely the absolute worst customer service in the country bar none.
