A lady called from Kendall Stevens mediation claiming a client has a lawsuit against me for some magazines! Such a scam. Do not believe it!!! They knee parts of my DOB and SSN bit that's it. They are scamming for money

    "Mediation" is commonly used in scam "debt collection" names, to imply it's somehow a "law firm" while avoiding actually saying that.
    Partial SSN may indicate they pulled your id information from skip-trace firms (often Accurint, datawhore to the scams).

    There are a small number of scamming "magazine marketers" who also run fake "subscription debt collection" rackets.
    they show up in complaints not only connected to past telemarketing scams, but also calling victims who weren't even solicited for a "subscription".
    There appears to be a market in "sucker lists" among such scum outfits, sometimes including bank account or credit card numbers, which make possible running through fraudulent charges without consumers even divulging the numbers.

      They change names like their underware... maybe every few months.
      What number(s) did they call from?
