Membership I don't want
Complaint
Amilla Bern.

I've written several requests to stop my membership at the Cooking club of America. I no longer want to be associated with this company after the treatment I am getting.
I've tried emailing them, writing to them. I searched for their phone number but didn't find any. They continue sending me bills, magazines, and books I am not interested in, and which I have to return.
I am wasting a lot of time trying to stop this "membership". I've also received a letter saying my account will be passed to collectors if I don't pay. Think before you enroll into this program. Your time, money, and credit score can be greatly effected.

The only problem I have with them is that they constantly send me requests to upgrade my membership to LIFETIME status. No thanks. I love the magazine that comes with the membership and have made several of the recipes. Everything I've made was delicious!
When I called I got someone whose command of the English language was marginal. I got apologies and rudeness at the same time. I asked for my free products, I asked for my magazine, I got words and nothing happened.
I waited another month and a half and received nothing except advertising encouraging me to become a life member. I received none of the products I was promised. I received nothing for testing. I called. The automated system informed me that my account is current. The customer No Service representative I got stuck with told me she showed I cancelled my account in July which is an outright lie.
I expressed my complete frustration and exasperation with the treatment and having been stolen from and defrauded. I asked to have my sign up products and magazines sent to me immediately and I was told that couldn't happen.
Cooking Club of America cheated me out of $12. They stole that money from me as surely as if they had stuck a gun in my face and ripped off my wallet. They defrauded me by promising me a magazine, sign up products, bonus products, and I got none of it.
DO NOT JOIN. IT IS A RIP OFF AND THEY HAVE NO PLAN FOR MAKING ANYTHING RIGHT WHEN THEY GET CAUGHT ! ! !
I spent enough money just to join and this is a useless club. The last time I asked about testing I was told I have to register for every test product. I thought when I paid the $300 and some dollars to join that I would automatically be able to test. Why should I pay another $200 or more to upgrade when I have NO SATISFACTION from joining the first time. To me this is a very disgusting club and I wish I would have never joined, could have used the money elsewhere if I would have known how disappointing this membership is!
Thank you
From y'all. If you all do not keep your word please refund my money for the life time membership.
You people are SO EASY!
Just kidding, all that stuff I wrote is not true. I'm just some guy reading comments. But you are all suckers!
