I send my payment always at the last minute! It takes them 7 days to enter a check after received by US Mail. It takes them a week to figure out that I paid already. In those 7 days I get 1-3 calls a day (24 hours a day) by some jerk asking me when am I going to pay. What am I missing? They have the check already.

Why don't you send your payments certified, so you can document the date of delivery by the Post Office.
Then when you get calls about alleged missing payments, you can file complaints with your state AG or postal authorities, including documentation from the Post Office showing the payment was received before the harassing calls.
If they start getting a bunch of AG inquiries about why they are harassing people over on-time payments, they might "learn" to stop doing it.
By the way, there are numerous consumer complaints against them reporting this same problem.
